Packages over 100 Kgs require heavy lift equipment. Please advise prior arrival to the Exhibition for availability of equipment.

Please be aware that no Storage will be allowed in the Exhibition Centre.

We can arrange for storage in shipping lines containers, with easy access to the Exhibition Centre.

• Total Cost - (Including Lift on, Lift Off - inside the port, Trucking, Except Crane charges to load and off load from the Trailer)
• Rent of Container per day
• Request for storage arrangements must be made at least 10 days prior to opening of the Exhibition.
• Rate of exchange is presently approximate OMR 0.388 equal to USD 1.00 .

Duty is 5% of the CIF value and should be paid in full prior to delivery of cargo. Most commodities are subject to 5% duty. However, it is advisable to get confirmation from us prior to shipment.

Customs inspection of goods at the Exhibition: - OMR 20.000 per inspection.

Health Certificate for Food Stuff: - OMR 5.000 per certificate. All foodstuff cargo requires Health Certificate from the origin.

• Commercial Invoice: - 1 Original + 3 Copies. For Value above OMR 1000.000 the original Invoice must be certified by Ministry of Commerce & Industry. Please ensure that the invoice includes CIF Value, manufacturer, number of packages, Gross weight and volume if a separate packing list is not presented. H.S. Code of each item should be shown in Commercial Invoice.
• GCC Certificate:- 1 Original Certificate signed by Chamber of Commerce and legalized by Omani Embassy or any other Arab Embassy.

• Commercial Invoice:- 1 Original + 3 Copies. For Value above OMR 1000.000 the original Invoice must be legalised by any GCC Embassy. Please ensure that the invoice includes CIF Value, manufacturer, number of packages, Gross weight and volume if a separate packing list is not presented. H.S. Code of each item should be shown in Commercial Invoice.
• GCC Certificate (Certificate of Origin):- 1 Original Certificate signed by Chamber of Commerce and legalized by Omani Embassy or any other Arab Embassy.

• All documents to be issued with:- Shipper:- Yourself
  Consignee:- Oman International
  Trade & Exhibitions.
  (OITE)
  Notify:- Official clearing & forwarding agent
• All original documents must be received by the Official clearing & forwarding agent (5) working days prior to arrival at Port, Border or Airport.
• All invoices must clearly state the CIF value, if not the customs will add insurance and freight value at their discretion.

All shipments should arrive at least seven (7) days prior to the opening of the Exhibition. Our Freight charges, Custom Duty, Inspection Charges etc are to be paid in full prior to delivery of Cargo.

Video Cassettes/ C.D / DVD / Printed Material will be detained by Customs for 1 – 2 weeks for approval, and cannot be transported by road into Oman.

The following documents are required by Customs to be able to claim the Customs deposit refund: -

• Export Invoice on the Company’s letter head
• Sales Invoice.
• Packing List
• Import Documents

Please note refund will be given only for goods re-exported within one month
