Water Technology & Conservation Exhibition will be organised from 12 – 14 September 2006 alongside Agro Fish & Food Exhibition and Oman’s strategic regional Environment Exhibition which is being organised under the auspices of Ministry of Regional Municipalities, Environment and Water resources, with the support of UNESCO.

Organised by OITE, the exhibition will take place at the Oman International Exhibition Centre in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. It will provide an important networking platform for professionals related to the Water Technology, Equipments, Consultancy & Services sector of local, Arab & international market.

National Master Plan on Water Resources

The Sultanate is considered one of the first countries which developed a national master plan to protect its water wealth. This plan was build on a scientific bases driving at conservation of this vital resource which has driven the Sultanate to maintain its water resources particularly after being classified as one of the countries exposed to drought. It enacted laws and legislations to conserve its water resources. Ministry is also looking for new water resources so as to be developed, managed, preserved and protected through awareness and necessary restrictions and rational use.
